AKEN looks to invest in assets that will provide a constant stream of cash flow income over the long term. These assets should provide visible and predictable returns, supported by long term contracts and providing capital preservation. AKEN will buy real estate assets directly or can invest in companies that own productive income assets.
Options include infrastructure projects, i.e. build-up of energy generating assets secured by long-term contracts guaranteeing a minimum return. In such cases, AKEN seeks to hold the assets until the maturity of the mandate.
